About me

I grew up just outside of Chicago and drifted around the country before finding a job at a residential treatment center supporting at-risk youth. Grad school brought me to Counseling Services as an intern in 2005 and I have yet to find a better place to work. In my almost 20 years at CSUHN I have worked with students struggling with substances, gender related issues, relationships, grief, depression, and anxiety. My heart and passion are with CSU students and helping them make changes and meaning in their lives, and I really love the staff here. They are some of the greatest people you will find on this campus. I have been lucky enough to serve as a Counselor on 1.5 Semester at Sea voyages and even dragged along a partner and three children. Most of my free time is spent at kid sporting activities and playing music around town.
