Regular Business Hours Crisis Intervention

Crisis intervention services are available by stopping by Mental Health Services on the 3rd floor of the CSU Health & Medical Center or calling (970) 491-6053 during normal operating hours. We can provide an immediate assessment of the situation and, when necessary, facilitate a mental health hospitalization.

After-Hours Crisis Intervention

When our offices are closed (evenings, weekends or holidays), the following options are available for mental health crisis intervention:

      • For students who are deaf or hard of hearing, please begin by calling 711 and Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) can help you communicate with our on-call counselors.

    • Transgender Suicide Prevention Hotline (Trans Lifeline): (877) 565-8860

Emergency Services

In a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go directly to a local emergency room or crisis clinic.
