About me

Having spent most of my childhood, and early adulthood in Texas, missing out on snow, when I graduated medical school, I decided it was my chance to do something different.  I ventured north to Ohio to experience cold and snowy winters. Upon finishing residency, I made my way to Colorado to join a private practice in Littleton, Colorado. After 7 years I decided to do something different, I returned to Texas to work in the prison system for 7 more years. I really learned a lot during this time, but I began realizing what I really wanted to do was student health. That lead me to a physician position at Texas A&M University in their student health center. With a desire to always return to Colorado, I was lucky enough able to land a position here at Colorado State University, where I have been for the past 13 years. Professionally, I have interests in Men’s Health, Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. Personally, I enjoy playing golf (with a dream to play Pebble Beach,) reading Stephen King, and anything sports related- especially the Houston Astros, Texans and Rockets.
