Insurance at CSU Health Network

Tricare

  • CSU providers are in network with Tricare West, Tricare East, and Tricare Prime. Students with Tricare Prime will need a referral from their Primary Care Manager (PCM) or designate one of our medical providers as their PCM. This will ensure their visit will be paid as in network.

VA Health Care

  • CSU Health Network is a not considered a VA medical location. A student wanting to be seen at our clinic will need to seek authorization from the VA prior to being seen. This link provides additional information regarding Community Care.

CSU Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)

  • CSU’s Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) provides comprehensive coverage on campus as well as in the community and nationally.  For more information, click here.

VITAL Program

The VA’s Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership (VITAL) program provides counseling to student Veterans to help support their successful integration into the university setting. Counselors provide evidence-based treatment for stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger, adjustment, sleep problems, and relationship issues. We can help you develop study skills, plan for future careers, and create goals. Services are confidential and free for many Veterans (based on VA eligibility).

For more information, check out our website and call Dr. Delia Sosa (307-286-1562) or Dr. Robert Balich (307-274-5321) to make an appointment.

The CSU VITAL office is co-located with Counseling Services on the 3rd floor of the CSU Health and Medical Center.
