Laboratory
The on-site laboratory at CSU Health Network allows students to get most tests preformed in house. They offer the following services:
- Clinical diagnostic testing available with orders from CSU Health Network care providers or your doctor.
- Off-site providers can fax orders to (970) 491-3560 or you can bring in written orders from your provider.
- CLIA-approved lab staffed with medical technologists and trained phlebotomists.
- All standard safety precautions are taken, all equipment used to collect samples are unused and sterile.
- Same day turnaround for most in house testing - next day for most send-outs.
- Reduced charges for students.
- Some of the tests we perform in house include:
- Hematology (CBC, Mono, etc)
- STD - syphilis, GC, chlamydia
- Glucose
- Urinalysis (UA, urine & serum pregnancy tests)
- Send out tests include:
- HIV
- Rabies
