Tobacco Cessation
The Hartshorn Health Service offers a special nicotine dependency service that helps you find out where you are at and meets you there by creating a special program that helps you conquer your addiction.
Our program is modeled after the Nicotine Dependency program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. We understand that tobacco use produces a chronic dependence on nicotine. Our program components include chemical dependency theory, behavioral psychology, nicotine replacement information and relapse prevention strategies. Whether you have made final plans to quit or you are conflicted about quitting, we can help you work through your thoughts.
