Home Eligibility to Access Care

All students registered for six or more credit hours automatically pay the health fee and the university counseling fee and are eligible to use CSU Health Network.  Part-time students, students of the Division of Continuing Education, Guest Students, Continuing Registration students and spouses or domestic partners may choose to pay the health fee and university counseling fee on a semester basis or pay for services as they are received at CSU Health Network.

Children of students may pay the health fee on a semester basis or pay for medial services as they are received at CSU Health Network.

The semester health fee is $134.90 and allows unlimited office visits with staff physicians/nurse practitioners though multi-disciplinary clinics.

Additional services provided at CSU Health Network include: X-ray; Laboratory; Pharmacy; and Specialty Clinics in Allergy/Asthma, Optometry, Orthopedic/Sports Medicine, Dental, Dermatology and Physical Therapy.  These services require additional cost, but are at reduced rates.

The semester counseling fee ($37.89) allows assessment/evaluation and five individual counseling sessions per semester with the mental health staff at the facility. Children of students may not utilize the newly integrated counseling and prevention services at CSU Health Network.

Payment for services not covered by the health fee may be made at the time of treatment with cash, check or credit card; billed to your student account; or submitted to the CSU Health Insurance Plan if enrolled in that program.  If you have your own insurance, you will be provided documentation to submit to your insurance company.

Students, please note: You do not have to be enrolled in the CSU Health Insurance Plan in order to access care at the CSU Health Network.
